The Chantra Dredgion is accessible at three different times each day:
Between 12:00 AM and 2:00 AM
Between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM
Between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM
**Note that times are based on server time, not game time.
The Dredgion is one of the most efficient places to earn Abyss Points, and players can also earn Platinum Medals and Gold Medals through Quests. While it’s possible to enter the Chantra Dredgion at level 51, all monsters inside the Chantra Dredgion are level 55, thus, the Battleground is recommended for Daevas 53-55.
There are three different types of Entry Requests: Private Entry, Quick Entry, and Group Entry.
Request entry to the Chantra Dredgion from anywhere!
|
Click “Private Entry” to queue up to enter the next available Dredgion Battleground as a single player. Click “Quick Entry” to queue up to enter the next available Dredgion Battleground as a single player, even if it’s already in progress. Click “Group Entry” to queue up to enter the next available Dredgion Battleground as a Group. |
Even if players opt for “Private Entry” or “Quick Entry”, a Group will form automatically.
Dredgion Wait Time
When Requesting “Private Entry” or “Quick Entry”, there is a short waiting period while the server creates a suitable Group. The Group must contain at least one Chanter or Cleric, and each Group must have over five members.
If a Group that meets these conditions cannot be created, there is a maximum wait period of 30 minutes. However, during ideal conditions, Group creation takes only 1-5 minutes.
Chantra Dredgion Walkthrough
The Chantra Dredgion is a PvP Instanced Dungeon where Daevas of both races compete against each other. Each side earns points for defeating certain Monsters, demolishing Surkana and other objects, or killing Daevas of the opposing faction.
When the Battleground ends, the side with the most points is declared the victor, though both sides will be rewarded with Abyss Points and will have the opportunity to complete Quests.
Chantra Dredgion Point Map
Points indicated on the map above are based on default values, and can change depending on certain conditions
|
Surkana
Demolish the Surkana for some serious pointage!
|
Surkana only suffer 1 point of damage from each attack, and also provide significant buffs to monsters within a 20m radius. It’s important to defeat the monsters nearby before taking on the Surkana.
When a Surkana is destroyed, the room in which it was contained changes color on the Battleground map (Green for Elyos, and Blue for Asmodian). These color changes make it easier to track enemy movement and the progression of the battle.
Points Earned from Monsters
Monster
|
Points
|
Normal Rank 5 | 12 |
Elite Rank 3 | 32 |
Elite Rank 5 | 42 |
Hookmatan | 500 |
Captain Zanata/Officer Kamanya | 1,000 |
Windfinder Kumar/Rajaya the Inquisitor | 0 |
In addition to demolishing Surkana, players gain points for defeating Monsters. Most monsters give 12-42 points, but certain Named Monsters can yield as many points as a Surkana.
It’s worth noting that the rare spawn Named Monsters which drop Heroic and Fabled accessories (Windfinder Kumar and Rajaya the Inquistor) do not provide points when defeated.
Balaur Weapon Chests
Destroy the Balaur Weapon Chests to complete Quests and earn points

These chests are also related to Quests for both Elyos and Asmodians.
Battle, Death, and Penalties
Battle and Death
Death during a Dredgion battle causes the defeated player’s Group to lose 60 points.
If defeated by the Balaur, the 60 points are lost, but if defeated by a player of the opposing race, the 60 points are lost and 60 points are added to the opposing Group’s total point score.
Points earned from defeating Daevas of the opposing faction are not added if the opposing faction has zero points. Thus, if one dominant Group wipes out a Group of the opposing race, and the opposing race’s total points are zero, the dominant Group does not receive additional points.
Point Difference Penalties
In order to prevent exploitation, when there is a large point difference between two Groups, penalties are applied to the winning Group.
If the point difference exceeds 1,000, the losing Group receives 1.5x more points for killing Daevas of the winning Group. If the point difference exceeds 3,000, the losing Group receives 10x more points for killing Daevas of the winning Group.

When death occurs in the Chantra Dredgion, there is no EXP or AP loss. Players will revive in the starting area with 100% HP and MP. |

Traversing the Chantra Dredgion
Understanding the locations of the shields and teleportation devices aboard the Chantra Dredgion is central to developing effective tactics.
With that knowledge, one Group can block enemies from advancing, or mobilize faster to take important objectives.
This map shows the Chantra Dredgion’s shields and blockades, as well as the corresponding
Shield Generator or the NPC (Gatekeeper Sarta) that carries the key
|
It’s worth noting that after a certain amount of time has passed, Officer Kamanya spawns in the Gravity Control room, and gives 1,000 points when defeated. There is also a chance that Rajaya the Inquisitor, a Hero grade Named Monster, will spawn. Rajaya the Inquisitor has a chance to drop Fabled and Heroic accessories.
When the Defense Shield Generator on the Weapons Deck or Lower Weapons deck is demolished, a shield appears in Ready Room 1 or 2. This shield blocks access to the center of the Chantra Dredgion. The Ready Room is the shortest route to the center of the Dredgion, and the quickest route to the opposing race’s area.
Different tactics can be used in this area to maximize the Group’s accumulation of points. For example, if one Group decides to destroy the opposing Group’s Shield Generator, it will make it difficult for the opposing Group to reach the center of the Dredgion.
In some cases, it might wiser for one Group to destroy their own Defense Shield Generator, and delay engagement with the opposing race in order to accumulate more points.
There are paths to the left and right of the Captain’s Cabin’s on the second floor, but the doors are blocked. These doors cannot be demolished, and can only be opened with a key dropped by a specific Named Monster.
Groups desiring the Captain’s Cabin Passage Key will need to defeat Gatekeeper Sarta in the center of the Dredgion. Only one Group can loot the key.
Chantra Dredgion Teleportation Devices
These teleportation devices allow players to teleport to different areas of the Dredgion with ease. The Supply Room Teleporter and the Central Teleporter are located in the Escape Hatch where the Group begins the battle.
The Captain’s Cabin Teleport Device is located just beyond the Barracks, and can make reaching Captain Zanata much easier.
Locations of Teleport Paths
Supply Room Teleporter
| This teleporter activates after the destruction of the Teleporter Generator in the Barracks. |
Central Teleporter
| This teleporter activates 10 minutes after the Instanced Dungeon has begun. |
Captain’s Cabin Teleport Device
| This teleporter activates when Sahadena the Abettor is defeated in the Barracks. Only the race that defeated Sahadena the Abettor can use this teleporter. |
Chantra Dredgion Quests
Each race has 5 Quests that can be completed aboard the Chantra Dredgion, of which 4 are Repeatable Quests for Abyss Points and Medals.
Most Quests can be completed during the normal progression of the instance, so it’s a good idea to pick them up before jumping in!
Elyos Quests

Chantra Dredgion Quests

In addition to the above Repeatable Quests, there is the [Group] Dredgion Blues Quest which provides Platinum Medals as a reward. This Quest requires numerous Named Monsters be slain, as well as a rare spawn Named Monster, so it can be a challenge to complete

The Point Named Monsters are worth a massive amount of points, almost as much as demolishing a Surkana. Defeating Captain Zanata ends the battle regardless of how much time is left.
